Dundee United midfielder Scott Robertson is set to face another operation on his groin this week. The 24-year-old Scotland international has had a torrid time with injuries over the last 12 months and has not played for the Terrors since facing Rangers in December. Robertson has had surgery twice already on his groin, but caretaker manager Peter Houston revealed he will have to go under the knife yet again. He said: "Scotty has had a jag before which didn't cure it and he's also had complete rest, which didn't work either. "Now they're wanting him to go in for an abdominal operation to release the tension in that area. "It looks like Monday or Tuesday that he'll go in and get the operation. "The rehab after it is still maybe six to eight weeks and Scotty's focus now is maybe getting the last seven or eight games of the season." Meanwhile, Francisco Sandaza was also checked over by his specialist this week and is expected to be back in full training next month. "Sandaza had a slight strain which showed up on the scan but two or three weeks maximum and he'll be back training with us," Houston added. "He's been checked out but it's just a minor strain so he's been told to get on with it."
