Defender agrees to mutually cancel his contract at Leicester

Sky Sports understands a number of clubs are tracking Tom Kennedy after he came to an agreement to mutually terminate his contract at Leicester City. Kennedy, the nephew of Liverpool legend Alan, joined Leicester in 2010 after impressing at Rochdale. However, the 27-year-old has only ever managed six appearances for the Foxes and spent more time on loan away from the club, firstly back at Spotland and then two spells with Peterborough. Now Kennedy is looking to kick-start his career elsewhere although, being a free agent, he can sign for a new club after Friday's deadline.
