Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers praised Arsenal goalkeeper Petr Cech for his display in their 0-0 draw at the Emirates.
Arsenal and Liverpool played out a goalless draw on Monday night as Liverpool maintained their unbeaten start to the season.
It was a game of two halves, with the visitors dominating the opening period, only to be denied on several occasions by the brilliance of Arsenal goalkeeper Cech.
Cech made two brilliant saves in the first half to prevent first Christian Benteke and then Philippe Coutinho from opening the scoring, the latter a brilliant fingertip save to turn the Brazilian's curling effort against the post.
Rodgers said: "Cech had a period of 10 to 15 minutes when he made some magnificent saves. Congratulations to the keeper. Simon Mignolet had to make some good saves as well of course.
"We definitely could have had all three points.
"Performance-wise I was very happy with how we worked. First half in particular we created chances and should have been in front. In the second half you always expect pressure.
"Our performance level has grown over time, our defensive organisation is good against big teams."
