Swiss authorities have agreed to extradite former FIFA vice-president Eugenio Figueredo to the United States.
The Uruguayan was one of seven FIFA officials arrested in May - on the eve of the organisation's conference - on US charges of football-related corruption.
Figueredo is accused of taking millions of pounds in bribes from a Uruguayan sports marketing company in connection with the sale of marketing rights for future Copa America tournaments.
He is the second of the seven arrested officials to head to the US: the first, Jeffrey Webb, agreed to be extradited in July.
Figueredo has 30 days to lodge an appeal with Switzerland's Federal Criminal Court and must say within five days whether he intends to do so.
