Premier League weekend grades: Ian Holloway gives his verdict

Did YOUR Premier League team live up to expectations this weekend?
We've asked Sky Sports pundit Ian Holloway to give each side a grade based solely on their 90-minute performance over the weekend.
So how did your team fare? Did they get an A+ or an F, or somewhere in between? Read on to see how your team has been ranked.
Chelsea (B-)
They needed to get the win, and they did. It was a very controversial game, and Jose Mourinho will be happy they are out of it and have won.
The fact that there was an improvement is the key thing. They seemed to gain confidence from their victory in midweek. Jose will probably say that their performance deserved an A, but I am going to take marks off for Diego Costa really stepping over the line. I am sure his manager will deal with him. He has looked a little sad this season, and needs to turn that around.
Arsenal (C-)
Arsene Wenger will be really upset as he'll feel the game was taken away from his side. He will be disappointed with Gabriel's reaction, and he should never have reacted at all. A little back-heel is silly and not even worth it. Cazorla is very hard done by, and on another day he would not have been sent off. The referee didn't need to do it. Ill-discipline hurts your team, and that's why they get this mark.
West Brom (B+)
You have to give West Brom credit. Tony Pulis got it spot on. His decision to play Berahino was a stroke of genius. Once they go one up, they are very difficult to break down, as was proved on Saturday. They held it together well, and looked as solid as a Pulis side always does.
Aston Villa (B-)
I don't blame Aston Villa. They have been better of late, and that is down to Tim Sherwood adding to their belief structure. It is not quite going for them at the moment, but there is signs they have a good, young team.
The cup game against Birmingham will be tough, but a win gives them that belief again. They didn't play that badly on Saturday, and Tony Pulis deserves credit for the win.
Bournemouth (A)
I am delighted for Bournemouth. For them to get their first win at home, the way they played, the way Callum Wilson is looking, Matt Ritchie's goal. Nothing but top marks after a showing like that.
Sunderland (B)
The man I feel sorry for is Jermain Defoe. I think he is a brilliant striker, and it is not quite going in for him. He had a couple of chances at the weekend, but wasn't meant to be. He could have gone down for one, and would have got a penalty, but he was honest and stayed on his feet. The rest of Sunderland's shape was wrong, but they weren't that bad.
Watford (B+)
I don't know why people are surprised by Watford. They have a scouting pool across the world, and they have assembled a really good team. They've a decent manager and will do well. They'll score goals and play some good football. Their defending has been the surprising aspect to their game, as they again showed at Newcastle.
Newcastle (C-)
With their next two game coming up very tough, it is getting difficult for Steve McClaren quickly. As results go, the game on Saturday was a game that the Newcastle supporters would really have wanted to win. It's not looking good at all.
Leicester (B+)
Fantastic game. Stoke were brilliant in the first half, and Leciester were equally as good in the second. You cannot fault the endeavour of Leicester. Riyad Mahrez is on a different level, and Jamie Vardy's energy is refreshing.
Stoke (B-)
I feel for Mark Hughes team at the moment. It took a controversial moment to get Leicester back into it. Did Marko Arnautovic commit the foul? They deserve more points than they have got, and Saturday is another example. They'll be fine if they keep playing like this. Leicester are not an easy team to beat at all.
Everton (B)
I am a big Roberto Martinez fan. Both teams will accept a point. I can't believe that Arouna Kone missed that chance. On another day, that goes in, and we are talking about an Everton win. They are getting better, and the John Stones saga has calmed down, and he looks like a brilliant player at a big club that Everton is.
Swansea (B)
Ashley Williams deserves an A+ for his own personal performance. I thought he was absolutely brilliant. There was a couple of chances that Bafetimbi Gomis would normally stick away, but not this time. You get games like this in football sometimes. They were still entertaining.
West Ham (A+)
With this and the Japan win in the rugby happening almost simultaneously, it was quite a day! It is amazing. I really like Dimitri Payet. He has been the signing of the season. He's a joy to watch.
Slaven Bilic deserves credit, their old manager deserves credit for laying the foundations. Victor Moses scores a brilliant goal, how did they get him on loan after he signed a four-year contract at Chelsea? Diafra Sakho was again at his best, Winston Reid and Adrian were immense. Top of the class for the Hammers.
Manchester City (B-)
Anybody would miss David Silva, and with going behind sop early on, they struggled to recover. Kevin de Bruyne looked a class act. Some brilliance at the back thwarted them but they still dominated possession. They are not going to walk it, but this is no disaster and they are still favourites.
Crystal Palace (B-)
I liked Alan Pardew's comments after it that he expects them to win now. A really good side with an excellent manager. On another day they would have done at Spurs. That's two defeats in a row now, and he doesn't like losing.
Tottenham (B-)
Heung-Min Son's goal is worthy of all sorts of credit. He got a bit of luck with it going through the goalkeeper, but sometimes it is nice to see that sort of endeavour being rewarded. Built on a good defence, they broke away quickly and got the goal they needed. Not the best performance, but Spurs needed that win badly.
Norwich (B+)
I don't think this result was a surprise. They have assembled a good team, with plenty of attacking quality, with a promising manager. On another day they'd have won at Anfield.
Liverpool (C-)
They have lost a lot of world class players, and they look like a side with much less quality, and leaders are lacking too. It was great to see Daniel Sturridge back, and he did well for someone that has been out for so long. He has been used to the genius of Luis Suarez, and will have to get used to playing off a big man in Christian Benteke.
Everyone has been singing Philippe Coutinho's praises, but he has to score that chance at the end. If that was Anthony Martial, he'd have the composure to slot that in.
Southampton (B-)
You can only admire Southampton. They never gave up. They have settled back down now. They have a great manager and a great policy at the club. Keeping Wanyama is a great decision. In their overall performance, Saints were not that bad.
Manchester United (B+)
It is looking ominous for the rest of the Premier League how the boy Martial has settled in up front. He allows Wayne Rooney to drop off into his preferred position. When he realises he needs to stay in a certain role behind Martial, then it will work out for everyone. Only Rooney can create things like he does. The defence is much better, Chris Smalling is growing in confidence, and it is looking good for Louis van Gaal.
