Garry Monk was left disappointed with Swansea’s 1-0 defeat at home to Stoke on Monday Night Football

Garry Monk is confident his Swansea players will turn their poor form around in the coming weeks after losing to Stoke.

Swansea are now six games without a win in all competitions after Stoke claimed their third successive Premier League victory by defeating the Swans 1-0 at the Liberty Stadium.

Bojan gave the away side the lead from the penalty spot in the third minute after being brought down in the 18-yard box by Swansea captain Ashley Williams.

Jonjo Shelvey did strike a post in the second half, but Swansea laboured for large parts of the game and their search for an equaliser was often unconvincing.

"We're in a difficult moment because we're not quite at the levels we need to be," Monk said.

"That's disappointing because we all know how capable this group of players are and the football we can produce.

"But it's for me to work with the players, we need to work hard together and stick together and get back to the levels which we know this team can produce.
