West Bromwich Albion and Venezuela striker Salomon Rondon picks his #One2Eleven on The Fantasy Football Club.

Rondon chose a 4-2-3-1 formation with his squad, coming mostly from his time at Malaga and with the Venezuela national team.

Las Palmas, Rubin Kazan and Zenit St. Petersburg are also among his former clubs, and has made 19 appearances for West Brom since joining in August 2010, scoring four goals.

So who features in the striker's XI? Carry on reading to find out...

GOALKEEPER: Willy Caballero

We were at Malaga together and we had a very good season because the team qualified for the Champions League for the first time. I thought he was a really great 'keeper.

We play together in the national team and we have done since we were young. Since the youth teams and throughout his career, he has been constantly developing.

CENTRE-BACK: Martin Demichelis

From having a great career and the experience I had of sharing a team with him, I can't think of a more symbolic player in the squad. He shows it in his character, in his way of playing and again that was from Malaga qualifying for the Champions League.

CENTRE-BACK: Fernando Amorebieta

Again, from the national team. Throughout his career, he's been a defender who goes in strong, who hits you a lot and with him in the team, I feel very safe.

LEFT-BACK: Eliseu

From Malaga, because he had a spectacular season in my first year in La Liga, and was one of the players that provided me with a lot of assists.

CENTRAL MIDFIELD: Jeremy Toulalan

Image: Jeremy Toulalan spent two years at Malaga and made 44 appearances for the club.

I think he sacrificed himself for the team on the field and was one of the key reasons for achieving the season's objectives in Malaga.

CENTRAL MIDFIELD: Tomas Rincon

Another one of my teammates from the national team. Apart from his youth, he has an energy about him and quite an intense style of play. I think that a player with these characteristics can only fill me with confidence.

RIGHT ATTACKING MIDFIELD: Quincy Owusu-Abeyie

We spent time together at Malaga as well and I've chosen him simply because he impressed me. His pace impressed me, his technique and his style of play. His career hasn't taken off despite the talent he has and that part is sad because he's a player that impressed me so much.

LEFT ATTACKING MIDFIELD: Duda

Again, I played with him at Malaga. Another one of the players that impressed me with his technique, in particular his free kicks amazed me.

CENTRAL ATTACKING MIDFIELD: Juan Arango

I would use him as a playmaker, because of the quality he has, especially when it comes to taking free kicks. He's an idol for the whole country because he was one of the pioneers that opened the door for Venezuelan players in world football.

STRIKER: Ruud van Nistelrooy

The name speaks for itself. Nothing more to say about Ruud apart from he's a gentleman on and off the pitch. He is a person that gave advice to me and to all the other young players when I had the opportunity to play with him at Malaga.

Watching a world-class figure like him was exciting. In training, watching every movement, learning every bit of technique in shooting drills and he would very rarely - almost never - miss a shot. It's things like that stay in your mind and you think about how incredible it was to play in the same team as such a world-class player who's been at great clubs, where he's always scored goals, won titles and been a reference. I find him extraordinary.

I honestly would not like to play in this team, but would rather watch it from the outside due to the quality it has.
