Peterborough have signed Adil Nabi from West Brom on a three-and-a-half-year deal for an undisclosed fee.

The versatile 21-year-old, who will go straight into the Posh squad for Saturday's trip to Gillingham, can play in an attacking midfield role or as a striker.

Nabi, who was named the Baggies' Young Player of the Season for 2014-15, recently returned from a loan spell with the Delhi Dynamos in the Indian Premier League.

He told Peterborough's official website: "It has happened very quickly and this is a very important move for me.

"It came to the stage where it is time for me to play some games and when Peterborough came calling, I jumped at the chance. The players that have come into this football club and gone on to do great things recently shows what can be done.

"I am excited to play some football now. I want to help the team get promoted into the Championship and score some goals along the way."
