Alex Pritchard will have a deadline-day medical at West Brom ahead of a proposed loan move, according to Sky sources.

It is understood the Tottenham attacker had agreed to join Championship side Burnley but a late move from the Baggies changed his destination.

It is understood Pritchard would prefer to play Premier League football and the deal is expected to go through on Monday.

The 22-year-old recently recovered from a long-term ankle injury and has only played once for Spurs this season.

He returned to full training earlier this month and head coach Mauricio Pochettino has been keen to involve him in the first-team, but it has been decided he is likely to play more games at another club as he continues his return to full fitness
