Speculation over Quique Sanchez Flores' Watford future 'not good for players'

Watford manager Quique Sanchez Flores insists uncertainty over his future is not helping his players, despite their dramatic 3-2 win over Aston Villa.
Troy Deeney's late double handed the Hornets a much-needed win, only their second in nine Premier League games, but speculation over the Spaniard's job security is still rife.
Watford were poor for most of the game until the final moments, when Villa went down to 10 men due to Aly Cissokho's dismissal, and Flores says speculation surrounding his future is not good for the players.
He said: "The speculation in many ways is not good for the players. The players always want to focus on the main target and the main target is the match.
"Speculation is not important. What was important was to be competitive.
"It was important because now mathematically we are (safe) in the Premier League and for Watford that is amazing."
Despite an under-par showing against already-relegated Villa, Flores says his decide controlled the game at Vicarage Road, and deserved the three points.
"We deserved to win the match. We had control but we conceded two silly goals and had to work pretty hard. We have to fight against these sort of teams.
"In the last part of the match we found the goals. We tried to keep going in attack to create attempts, and I think it would have been completely unfair to lose this match.
"I'm happy for [Deeney] because he fought a lot, he was playing with some pain in the stomach, and was really in pain at half-time he told me.
"But he kept on the pitch because he's important."
