Gary O'Neil insists Norwich are fired-up for their clash with Manchester United on Saturday despite defeat to Arsenal leaving them in a perilous position with three games to go.

The Canaries are second-bottom of the Premier League and a point adrift of safety after a 2-0 loss at the Emirates on the Saturday Night Football.

Alex Neil's side host successive home games against United and then Watford the following Wednesday and defender O'Neil says it is time to make or break.

He said: "The next two games are going to be huge for us. Saturday-Wednesday is either going to give us a right chance or damage our hopes.

"We still believe. We're one win away from getting out of the bottom three. We play first next weekend. We win at 12:45 and it puts some pressure on the other two.

"Man Utd have improved since we last played them but, at our place, we've got a decent record against some of the bigger teams. We'll be fired up, it's massive to us. We'll give it a right go."

Alex Neil believes his side did well despite losing to Arsenal

Norwich team-mate Russell Martin said: "We have to move on from Arsenal now, simple as that.

"If we win three games we should stay up so we have to win against Manchester United to put pressure on Newcastle and Sunderland.

"We've been dominant and on top in a lot of games but not put matches to bed. That's one reason why we're where we are. It's disappointing because it was always 'nearly' or 'not quite there' for us."
