Tottenham and Marseille have finally reached a renewed agreement for the Georges-Kevin N'Koudou/ Clinton N'Jie swap deal, according to Sky sources.

It is understood N'Koudou will join Spurs in a permanent transfer still amounting to around £11m, while N'Jie is set to join Marseille on a season-long loan.

The transfers are expected to be completed over the next few days and it will mark the end of a protracted saga that has seen significant hierarchical change at Marseille and Spurs' head of recruitment Paul Mitchell resign in the meantime.

Spurs manager Mauricio Pochettino said on Thursday he hoped the club would sign up to three new players before the deadline, and it is believed N'Koudou is set to sign a five-year contract having already completed a medical close to a month ago.

N'Koudou is a France U21 winger who can be a threat off either the left or right and was spotted while the north London club were scouting striker Michy Batshuayi, who eventually joined Chelsea.

N'Jie, meanwhile. spent most of last season injured and has been warned he would face a tough task to get regular games at Spurs, which he needs if he is to recapture the promise he showed at Lyon that led to a £12m switch to White Hart Lane last summer.
