Eddie Nketiah, Arsenal U18s' top goalscorer last season, has signed a professional contract with the club.
Nketiah, 17, scored 24 goals in 28 appearances for the youth side in the last campaign, and has already added four in his first three fixtures this season.
While Arsenal's senior side drew 1-1 with Paris Saint-Germain in their Champions League opener on Wednesday, Nketiah also made his debut in the UEFA Youth League against PSG as they played out a goalless draw.
A statement on Arsenal's website said: "As well as his eye for goal, Eddie has impressed in our academy ranks with his speed and dribbling skills.
"We would like to congratulate Eddie on his new contract, and look forward to his continued progress with the club."
Arsenal travel to the KCOM Stadium on Saturday as they return to Premier League action with a trip to Hull City.
