Crystal Palace goalkeeper Steve Mandanda out for another six weeks due to knee surgery

Crystal Palace goalkeeper Steve Mandanda is facing a further six weeks on the sidelines as his knee problem requires surgery.
The 31-year-old will have an operation after he was injured during a training session with the France squad during the international break.
Speaking at his press conference on Friday morning, Palace manager Alan Pardew said: "Steve Mandanda's going to have an operation on his knee this week. We think he's out for six weeks. His knee locked up in training."
Mandanda, who joined Palace from Marseille in July and has made 10 appearances so far this season, has already missed the Premier League games against Manchester City and Swansea City due to the injury.
Wayne Hennessey has started in goal in his absence with Julian Speroni on the bench.
Palace host Southampton at Selhurst Park on Saturday as they look to end their six-game losing run and move away from the relegation zone.
