Craig Shakespeare is expected to be confirmed as Leicester City's manager until the end of the season early next week, according to Sky sources.

Sky sources understand a deal is likely to be agreed and signed before the Foxes face Seville in the Champions League next Tuesday.

Talks between the Premier League club and Shakespeare's representatives are progressing well and that there is broad agreement between the two sides.

There are still a number of minor details and legal matters to be completed. Progress has been slower than expected because of the time difference in relaying discussions back to Leicester's owners in Thailand, while Shakespeare only arrived back from warm-weather training with the squad in Dubai on Wednesday evening.
