Tottenham need star signings after Everton stalemate, says Jamie Redknapp

Jamie Redknapp reckons Tottenham are short on stars after seeing them fail to fire against Everton.
Mauricio Pochettino's side have yet to win this season and had to settle for a 0-0 draw after a game that saw goal-shy Harry Kane fluff a fine one-on-one chance.
"When I think about Spurs over the last five, six years, I think about pace in wide areas; I think about [Gareth] Bale, [Aaron] Lennon, [Luka] Modric in that central midfield position - players that get you off your seat," Redknapp said.
"But when I look at this team, there's no width or balance. It's congested.
"When I think about Tottenham I think about [Paul] Gascoigne, I think about [David] Ginola - great players. When you pay for your season ticket, you want to see stars.
"Harry Kane was a revelation last season. But I look at this Tottenham team and think, 'Yeah, it's not bad. It's pretty average at times.
"They've got a manager in Mauricio Pochettino who is very good - but he needs the tools."
