Wayne Rooney, Michael Carrick and Ashley Young all fluffed their lines from the spot for Manchester United as Middlesbrough secured a 3-1 spot-kick victory to reach the Capital One Cup quarter-finals.
But it wasn't just the Premier League side who were off-song; David Nugent skied his attempt!
