Jose Mourinho says Manchester United will make at least one more summer signing, and wants the deal done soon - but he is not yet prepared to discuss if Paul Pogba is the player in question.

Mourinho has urged United to sign his final priority target before the start of the Premier League season.

The club are understood to be finalising Pogba's £100m transfer from Juventus, with the France midfield star currently finishing his holiday in the USA and preparing to fly to England.

United played out a drab goalless draw with Everton in Wayne Rooney's testimonial at Old Trafford on Wednesday but, afterwards, Mourinho refused to confirm anything other than that Pogba is still a Juve player.

He said: "We are going to sign one more player, that's for sure.

"I don't want to speak about Paul Pogba because he is a Juventus player and I don't like other managers speaking about my players. I don't speak about their players.

"But the reality is we are going to sign one more player. The market closes on August 31, so we have plenty of time to do that, but obviously I would like to do it before the Premier League season starts."
