But the Belgium international may find his first-team opportunities limited by the addition of £40m signing Matic.

The Daily Express also has a story on Fellaini, suggesting Galatasaray remain confident of securing a deal despite Mourinho's statement.

They even say Fellaini has agreed a four-year deal worth around £3.6m a season to join the Turkish giants.

Gareth Bale will need to indicate he wants to leave Real Madrid before Manchester United launch a bid to sign him.

That's according to the Daily Express, who also claim Jose Mourinho is planning to sound out the Wales international's interest ahead of next summer's transfer window.

But United will wait until Bale says he favours a Premier League return before making an official offer.

The Manchester Evening News reports United are keen to steal away Manchester City contract rebel Jadon Sancho.

The England youth international, who started his academy career at Watford before moving to City, has also been linked with Arsenal and Tottenham.

Sancho is thought to be weighing up a move back to London but United will offer him the chance to stay in Manchester.

United are nearing a £25m deal for Paris Saint-Germain right-back Serge Aurier, according to The Independent.

Only visa issues are holding up the transfer, with Aurier set to rival Antonio Valencia in defence.
