Diego Costa should retain his competitive edge but must focus his energy on scoring goals, according to Graeme Souness and Jamie Carragher.
Speaking on Super Sunday, the Sky Sports football experts said Costa's aggressive style of play is an important part of his game after a man-of-the-match performance in Chelsea's win over Crystal Palace, but believe it should not come at the expense of the team.
Costa returned to the starting line-up at Selhurst Park after missing the goalless draw against Manchester United through suspension, and grabbed a goal and an assist to spur his side to victory.
