Costa did not travel with the senior squad for their 3-0 win over Leicester City on Saturday, with a back injury being the official reason for the forward's absence.

Sky sources understand Costa was involved in a training ground row with head coach Antonio Conte against the backdrop of a £30m-a-year offer from Chinese club Tianjin Quanjian, and was due to meet the Chelsea boss on Tuesday.
