Eden Hazard is delighted to be back in contention again, having not featured for Chelsea in the last three months.
Belgium manager Roberto Martinez has said there is a "great possibility" that Hazard will make his return against Gibraltar on Thursday, live on Sky Sports, despite not playing a minute of Chelsea's season so far.
Hazard has been on the sidelines since undergoing ankle surgery this summer after fracturing it on international duty in June and has now opened up about his long road back in isolation.
"The last three months were not easy," said Hazard, when asked about his recovery by Sky Sports News reporter Gary Cotterill. "I was working a lot, alone. When people were away on holiday I was training alone.
"It's something that's part of the job. Every day you learn, I learned over the last three months. But now I'm happy, I just want to play football and I'm just happy to be back on the pitch."
Hazard also shed light on how he acted as something of an agent for his brother, Kylian, after the younger sibling joined Chelsea's development squad this week from Hungarian side Ujpest.
Asked if he was happy about another Hazard heading to Stamford Bridge, Eden said: "Yeah but I think Kylian needed a new challenge.
"He went to Hungary and he told me 'I want to find something new'. I said come to Chelsea, I will speak to the manager to see if he can do something and they did, so for him I'm happy."
Eden Hazard warned his brother will not be lining up alongside him in the Chelsea first team any time soon, though.
"I just want him to play also, but not for the first team because now it's too early and he's not good enough," said Hazard. "I hope to play with him one day, why not."
