Agent: Villa want Baros replacement
Milan Baros's agent says Aston Villa want to replace his client before letting him leave.
The agent for Milan Baros says Aston Villa are not keen to part ways with his client, unless they find a suitable replacement.Agent Pavel Paska has already revealed that the Czech Republic international is interesting Premiership champions Chelsea.
The 25-year-old has already rejected a move to Spain with Primera Liga strugglers Real Sociedad, but a move to Stamford Bridge this January will hinge on Villa's chances of replacing the former Liverpool goalscorer.
"The talks are not easy, they will continue on Tuesday or Wednesday," Baros's agent Pavel Paska told sport.cz.
"I will give you an example, we were realising Tomas Rosicky's move to Arsenal for two years. Everything needs time.
"At present, we are waiting until Aston Villa find an adequate replacement for Milan.
"It is very likely that if this does not happen, there will be no progress in negotiations."
Meanwhile, Baros's mother Radka Barosova has revealed that her son informed her and the striker's father regarding Chelsea's interest.
"Milan told us that on Christmas Eve, as he confirmed Chelsea were interested in him," Barosova told Czech daily Blesk.
"He did not want us to speak about it anywhere, so we did not even tell our daughter.
"We will see how it turns out. It would be great if it turned out well.
"I think the manager (Martin) O'Neill doesn't have much confidence in him.
"Milan would certainly gain new motivation somewhere else."
