Chelsea have sent youngster Cristian Cuevas on a season-long loan to Belgian Pro League side Sint-Truidense.
The 20 year-old left-back signed for Chelsea on a £3m five-year deal from Chilean club O'Higgins in 2013.
The defender was then loaned to Primera Division side Club Universidad de Chile last season, making four appearances.
Cuevas, who can also play on the left wing, is now expected to continue his development at Sint-Truidense, who won the Belgian second division last season.
