Juventus are interested in signing Chelsea's Juan Cuadrado and he is the Serie A champions' third choice for a new attacking-midfielder, according to Sky Italia.

It is understood Juve's first choice is Schalke's Julian Draxler, whom they are currently pursuing a deal to sign, but if they fail to land the German international they will turn their attention to Borussia Dortmund's Henrikh Mkhitaryan.

Should the Bianconeri fail with both, it is believed they will turn their attentions to Cuadrado, whom they believe is available for transfer this summer.

Cuadrado only signed for Chelsea in January from Fiorentina for £26.1m but appeared to struggle and started just four Premier League games before the end of the season.

The Colombia international made his first appearance of the new campaign as a substitute in the 3-0 defeat at Manchester City on Sunday, and he is yet to score for the Blues.

Cuadrado will also find it more difficult to break into Jose Mourinho's first team after they completed the signing of Barcelona's attacking-midfielder Pedro.

Juventus were previously interested in Tottenham duo Christian Eriksen and Erik Lamela but it is understood Spurs have told the Italian club they are not interested in selling either player and Juve have ended their interest.
