Jamie Carragher made Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp a cheeky offer after their Capital One Cup win over Stoke

After Liverpool made it through to the Capital One Cup final on Tuesday night, one of their former players cheekily put his hand up to make a shock comeback.

Jurgen Klopp's side, who overcame Stoke City 6-5 on penalties at Anfield, are currently in the middle of an injury crisis, especially when it comes to the heart of their defence.

With the likes of Martin Skrtel still sidelined with a hamstring problem and fellow central defender Dejan Lovren having only just returned to full fitness, Sky Sports pundit and ex-Reds centre-back Jamie Carragher offered up his services for the trip to Wembley.
