Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp says forward Divock Origi could play a part in the Europa League final against Sevilla on Wednesday night.
The 21-year-old Belgium international has been on the sidelines since he suffered knee ligament damage during the Merseyside derby against Everton on April 20.
However, he has made a quick recovery and, having travelled to Switzerland with the squad, he is in contention for a place on the bench, although a starting berth would be considered a surprise.
"We will see," said Reds boss Jurgen Klopp at his pre-match press conference in Basel on Tuesday. "We have another session.
"He has had two, and done well. We will see how he feels and then make a decision."
England midfielder and club captain Jordan Henderson will definitely be available to Klopp, having recovered from the knee injury he suffered at the start of April.
Henderson returned to action from the bench at West Brom on Sunday and expects to be among the substitutes again on Wednesday night.
"I don't expect to start," said the 25-year-old. "I've been out a long time.
"I've only played 30 minutes, and the team has done very well to reach the final.
"But, at the same time, I feel good. I hope I've been OK in training, and I'm ready to play for as long or as little as the manager wants
"The injury has been good, in the last few weeks it has progressed really well. I've trained a few times and managed to play at the weekend.
"I don't know the team, we will probably only find out a few hours before the game, as always.
"It's a huge night for everybody involved and every single player wants to play in it."
