Liverpool are to play Spanish champions Barcelona at Wembley on Saturday August 6.

The match, which will be part of the International Champions Cup, will kick-off at 5pm.

The Reds are one of 10 teams competing in the tournament and will play two matches in California in July before heading back to the UK to face Barcelona at the national stadium.

They play Chelsea at the Pasadena Rose Bowl on July 27 followed by a clash with AC Milan at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara on July 30.

Liverpool ambassador Gary McAllister was at Wembley for the announcement of the match against Barcelona, who are likely to feature former Reds forward Luis Suarez, and is already looking forward to the game.
