Marko Grujic can get his Liverpool career under way after he was officially granted a work permit at a hearing on Monday.

Grujic was Jurgen Klopp's first signing as Liverpool manager when he clinched a deal for the 20-year-old's signature from Red Star Belgrade in January.

The midfielder remained on loan with boyhood club Red Star until the end of the 2015/16 season and joined up with Liverpool for their first day of pre-season at Melwood on Saturday.

Grujic was a key part of the Serbia side that beat Brazil to lift the U20 World Cup in New Zealand last year.
