Luis Alberto completes deal to Lazio from Liverpool

Liverpool have confirmed Luis Alberto has signed for Lazio on a permanent deal.

Sky sources understand Liverpool had accepted a £6m bid for Spanish winger Luis Alberto from Serie A club Lazio. Lazio will pay £4.3m up front, with an additional £1.7m due to Liverpool if certain criteria are met. There is also a 30 per cent sell-on clause in the deal.

The 23-year-old attacker travelled to Rome to finalise personal terms and completed a deal on Wednesday afternoon.

Liverpool signed Alberto for £6.8m from Sevilla three years ago but he has started just two games in that time and has been loaned to Malaga and Deportivo.
