Matt Le Tissier reflects on the game between Liverpool and Hull City at Anfield.

Liverpool climbed into the top four in the Premier League with an assured 5-1 victory over Hull at Anfield.

The Merseysiders claimed a fourth consecutive win under Klopp for only the third time as the visitors, reduced to 10 men after Ahmed Elmohamady's dismissal for handball, were ruthlessly taken apart.

Goals from Adam Lallana, Sadio Mane and Philippe Coutinho added to a brace of James Milner penalties, while David Meyler's strike proved only to be a consolation for the Mike Phelan's side.

The flurry of goals took Liverpool's tally to 24 from their eight games in all competitions, while inflicting Hull's heaviest Premier League defeat since Match 2010.

The result means Liverpool sit behind only Manchester City, Tottenham and Arsenal in the league table on 13 points, while Hull drop a place to 12th with seven points.
