Sport Bild in Germany says Liverpool are still in contention to sign Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang after Borussia Dortmund's deal with Paris Saint-Germain fell through.

Dortmund want Aubameyang's future sorted by the end of July and if no transfer can be agreed by then he will stay in Germany.

Liverpool could complete the signing of Mohamed Salah today, according to Sky sources.

A transfer fee has been agreed in principle but the full details have not been negotiated. Salah has already agreed personal terms with Liverpool and is expected to cost in the region of £35m.

The London Evening Standard reports Liverpool's deal for Salah will see former club Chelsea pocket £2.7m due to a sell-on clause.

Swansea are trying to bring ex-Liverpool defender Martin Skrtel back to the Premier League, reports The Sun.

Liverpool goalkeeper Loris Karius has told Jurgen Klopp he wants to stay and fight for his place at Anfield, according to The Independent.

Karius had been linked with a return to the Bundesliga after falling out of favour at Liverpool. Augsburg were thought to be the main contenders to sign him.
