Clubs are circling around Liverpool forward Rhian Brewster, as we round up the latest rumours on Monday, May 14.

Reports in the Sunday Telegraph over the weekend suggested that Borussia Monchengladbach were in pole position to sign the highly rated young Liverpool striker.

However, there appears to have been a twist in this story, with The Times claiming that Tottenham have now moved ahead of the Bundesliga club in the race for the player's signature.

Meanwhile, there was worrying news for the Merseysiders in Don Balon. The Spanish publication claim that Liverpool have promised free-scoring forward Mohamed Salah that he will be allowed to join European champions Real Madrid next season if he helps the club to win the Champions League later this month.

The Egypt international - who only moved to Anfield from Roma last summer - has just finished as the top scorer in the Premier League after finding the back of the net on 32 occasions in the top flight.

And finally, there was some good news for Jurgen Klopp and Co over the weekend after it emerged the club will have to only fork out £52.75m for dynamic midfielder Naby Keita this summer.

Liverpool agreed a deal for the Guinea international in August, however, after RB Leipzig finished the Bundesliga campaign in sixth place, the original fee was reduced from £59m.
