Liverpool are told they will need to splash the cash to sign Roma No 1 Alisson this summer, as we round up the latest rumours on Wednesday, May 30.

The Serie A club will demand £80m for goalkeeper Alisson, a target for Liverpool, according to reports in the Guardian.

However, it is believed that the Reds will have to battle Real Madrid for the Brazil international's signature.

Meanwhile, Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah has asked for time to consider his future at Anfield, says Don Balon.

The Egyptian is currently in a race against time to be fit for this summer's World Cup after damaging his shoulder in Saturday's Champions League final defeat to Madrid.

Elsewhere, Christian Pulisic's father labelled reports linking the midfielder with a number of Premier League clubs, including Liverpool, as "hogwash".

"He was linked to Tottenham. Last week it was Liverpool. The week before Man United. The week before this… it's hogwash," Mark Pulisic told Sky Sports.

And finally, Brazil captain Thiago Silva has praised the qualities of new Liverpool signing Fabinho, who joined the club from Monaco for £43.7m on Tuesday.

"[Fabinho] is really smart, a really technical player and I am sure he will get adapted to the Premier League as soon as he arrives here," Silva said of his compatriot.

"He changed his position in Monaco. He was a right-back and now he is a midfielder.

"I don't know how Liverpool are thinking about using him, but I am sure they can use him in both."
