Gerrard's Anfield exhibition

Liverpool will honour Steven Gerrard with an exhibition at Anfield to showcase his footballing memorabilia.

After over 17 years of service, Gerrard will play his last competitive game at Anfield on Saturday live on Sky Sports 1 HD against Crystal Palace, but a huge part of his achievements will stay at the ground.

Included in the haul are nearly 100 unopened magnums of champagne from man of the match awards, over 100 England caps, including a gold cap to mark his century, and his coveted Champions League winners medal from 2005.

Also included is Gerrard's shirt from the 2006 FA Cup final win over West Ham, washed in cold water to preserve the mud.

The haul, organised by Liverpool Museum curator Stephen Done, will be reduced to 200 pieces, and will be on show at Anfield for two years.
