Eight people were arrested following incidents at Sunday's north London derby between Arsenal and Tottenham at the Emirates Stadium.

Arsenal's Mesut Ozil was reportedly hit with a missile from the crowd and toilets at the stadium were damaged, with pictures posted on social media.

That followed on from a Capital One Cup fixture between the pair last month that saw Arsenal supporters pulling advertising hoardings off the stands at White Hart Lane.

A Metropolitan Police statement read: "A total of eight arrests were made at the Arsenal versus Tottenham Hotspur game on Sunday, 8 November at the Emirates Stadium.

"The arrests were for public order offences, missile throwing, possession of drugs and assault. Six of those arrested have been charged."
