Arsene Wenger believes Arsenal's style of play suits Alex Iwobi after the youngster's impressive display against Watford on Saturday.
The winger opened his Arsenal account at Everton before the international break, and made it two goals in as many games for the club with their second in a 4-0 win over a below-par Hornets side.
Iwobi also played a key role in Alexis Sanchez's opener at the Emirates Stadium, picking out the Chilean with a chipped cross, and Wenger was full of praise for the versatile attacker after the game.
"He [Iwobi] is a creative player and he scores goals as well," Wenger said. "He's a midfielder and a striker at the same time, so he can be creative in his passing.
"He's very mobile as well, and we have a game based on movement so he participates very well."
Hector Bellerin and substitute Theo Walcott added second-half goals for Arsenal as they kept the pressure on Leicester and Tottenham in the Premier League title race.
They sit eight points behind the league leaders with seven games remaining, including a game in hand, and Wenger believes they can still chase their rivals down.
When asked if Saturday's dominant display keeps Arsenal in the race, Wenger said: "Of course, we played well today. I said we'd take it game-by-game and just focus on the performance and that's what we did today. That's all you can do, in fact.
"It doesn't matter how realistic it is, we just have to believe in our game. As I said before the match, we have to look behind us as well, they are chasing us from the back, and we are chasing in front. We just have to continue.
"In the last few weeks we have had a big difference in the number of expected goals and the number of goals we scored, and we paid a heavy price for that.
"I'm happy that we scored at Everton and scored today, and didn't concede in either. I hope that brings a lot of belief back."
