Theo Walcott has promised great things from Arsenal this season, following their decisive 4-1 victory away at Hull on Saturday.

Walcott was instrumental in the win, doubling the Gunners' 1-0 advantage shortly after half-time before Hull's Robert Snodgrass converted a penalty to bring the score line to 2-1.

But the Tigers' hopes of a comeback were dashed as Alexis Sanchez made it 3-1 and Granit Xhaka rounded off the scoring with a superb long-range strike.

Highlights from Arsenal's 4-1 victory over Hull

The win marks three Premier League victories in a row for Arsenal, who also managed a draw away at Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League earlier on last week.

"The three points is the main thing. We had a very tough game against Southampton, we got a great point at PSG in the week and we've been tested this week with a couple of away games," Walcott responded when asked how he felt about his landmark goal.

"Hull wasn't going to be easy - they've had a very good start and I think they'll take a lot of points against teams here."

However, following the impressive win against Hull, Walcott admitted his side were now more ruthless then ever and ready for the challenges ahead.

"I think so. Maybe in the time gone we might have been bullied in these sorts of games, but everyone was physically strong and we're getting better, stronger and fitter in each game now. I think the best of us is still to come,' he said.
