Young Arsenal midfielder Gedion Zelalem has joined Dutch Eerste Divisie outfit VVV Venlo on loan for the rest of the season.

Zelalem spent last season with Rangers, making 21 league appearances for Mark Warburton's side as they earned promotion back to the Scottish Premiership.

The 20-year-old German-born midfielder joined the Gunners in 2013 after he was spotted by Arsenal scouts playing in a youth football tournament in Dallas.
