Former Arsenal defender Sol Campbell expects Arsene Wenger to sign a two-year contract to remain at the club.

The ex-England international believes the Frenchman will revamp the squad to mount a Premier League title charge next season.

Wenger has yet to publicly announce whether he will be in charge next season, having admitted before the international break he has already made his decision.

And Campbell, part of the Invincibles side that won the club's last league title in 2004, believes the Gunners boss has earned the right to extend his contract.

"For me qualifying for the Champions League 19 times consecutively is no mean feat," he told Sky Sports News HQ.

"Bringing forwards and fantastic players in his tenure. Now is the time to sit back and take stock because he's done a wonderful job.

"There's two years on the table and I imagine he will take it.
