Lille are determined to avoid the nightmare situation of selling both Eden Hazard and Gervinho.

French club will only allow one of Hazard and Gervinho to leave

Lille manager Rudi Garcia is determined to avoid the nightmare situation of selling both Eden Hazard and Gervinho this summer. After helping their club to the Ligue 1 title last season, the dribbling specialists have both been linked with moves to Liverpool, Arsenal or Real Madrid. But Garcia is adamant that in a worst-case scenario only one of Hazard or Gervinho, who has just one year left on his contract, will be allowed to leave. He told skysports.com: "In my honest opinion, I want to keep those two boys. "With them fit and with a good attitude we can cause a surprise in Europe and do very well in the league. "Hazard should stay, for me. He will learn more and improve again. "In an ideal world, Gervinho would do the same with a new contract because he has one year left. "The chairman and I are of the same mind, we should keep the two. We can accept one leaving, but not the two. It would be a nightmare for us."
