Roberto Martinez said that he has no news regarding Steven Naismith’s potential transfer away from Everton

Everton stars Steven Naismith and Aiden McGeady could be on their way out of Goodison Park this month.

Forward Naismith is wanted by two Premier League clubs, with one of them Norwich City, according to Sky sources, and Toffees boss Roberto Martinez is happy for him to go.

Winger McGeady, who has rarely featured this season, is a target for two domestic clubs and a third abroad and Everton are trying to help him find a loan move this month, along with midfielder Darron Gibson, who can also go out on loan.

Martinez said: "We're going to work together with Aiden and his representative and we're going to make the right call. There's been three enquiries and it's going to be over the next couple of weeks that we're going to make the final decision.

"It would be a loan until the end of the season and (he and Gibson) would be returning and competing strongly in pre-season in view of the next campaign."

McGeady is desperate for first-team football as he tries to impress Republic of Ireland boss Martin O'Neill ahead of this summer's European Championship.

Meanwhile, Martinez would not be drawn on whether Dynamo Kiev winger Andriy Yarmolenko is a target.

The Ukraine international has been linked with a move to Goodison Park in each of the last three transfer windows, and his agent was spotted at the club on Saturday.

Martinez refused to confirm if the £20m-rated Yarmolenko is on his radar, only saying: "We have been working really hard to get some business done early."

"Shani Tarashaj [signed last week] was our target number one in terms of doing it quickly.

"We've got a couple of situations that could happen. The shape of the squad is going to be determined in the last week of the window and we want the squad to be stronger than it is now."
