Romelu Lukaku named Everton Player of the Season at awards ceremony

Premier League top goalscorer Romelu Lukaku was named Everton Player of the Season at the club's end of season awards on Tuesday night.

A hugely successful campaign for the Belgium international has seen the striker score 24 league goals for the Toffees so far this term.

Lukaku has been instrumental in spearheading Everton's attack, playing a pivotal role in leading Ronald Koeman's side to seventh spot in the table with two games remaining with 16 league wins under their belt.

Lukaku also picked up the Players' Player award, but he was outdone by Everton academy graduate Tom Davies, who picked up three awards at the event, in honour of his contributions this season.

The 18-year-old was awarded Young Player of the Season, Individual Performance of the Season for his display in the Toffees' 4-0 win over Manchester City and Goal of The Season for his first ever Premier League goal, which came during the City victory.
