Everton confirm Sandro Ramirez is to join Sevilla on loan

Everton have confirmed that Sandro Ramirez is set to join Sevilla on loan for the rest of the season, subject to a medical.

The Goodison Park side revealed the move on Tuesday night, with the 22-year-old returning to La Liga just six months after joining from Malaga.

Ramirez was subsequently signed by former Everton manager Ronald Koeman for £5.25m in July but struggled to make an impact on Merseyside, scoring just one goal - in the 5-1 Europa League defeat to Atalanta - in 15 appearances.

His last game came in the 0-0 draw with Everton on December 23 and he will now have the opportunity to impress back in Spain, having scored 16 times in 31 appearances for Malaga last season.
