Theo Walcott believes Cenk Tosun is finally "showing his class" for Everton following his move from Besiktas.
Tosun joined the Toffees in a £27m move in January but was used sparingly by Sam Allardyce in his first two months in English football as he acclimatised to the Premier League.
The 26-year-old striker was brought back into the starting line-up earlier this month and has now scored four goals in three games, including a double in a 2-1 win over Stoke on Saturday.
Walcott has provided Tosun with two assists this month, and the former Arsenal winger believes his team-mate has finally settled at Goodison Park after a difficult start.
"I put in a few good ones at Stoke and Cenk showed his class," Walcott told evertontv. "We see it every day in training. It always takes time to get used to the Premier League and a different culture and to get to know your team-mates.
"But he has settled in really well. He is a great finisher and a great man, as well. I am really pleased for him."
Tosun scored 41 goals in 96 league games for Bestikas during his four-year spell at Vodafone Park and Walcott believes the Turkish striker is an ideal target man for Everton's wingers.
"Without a doubt, when you have a big man up front and you put it into an area and he attacks it, that is all you want as a winger," said Walcott. "That is all I want and [the service is] what he is going to want.
"I fancy him to beat a lot of centre-halves. Stoke's centre-backs are known for being physically strong and the way he dominated showed in the second half. Everyone won their battles.
"Stoke are a very physical team and they showed that. We dug in and showed good character to come back, especially with it being a disappointing goal we conceded. But I was pleased with the win overall."
