Goalkeeper Joel Robles heads up a list of seven players released by Everton.
The stopper was signed by fellow Spaniard Roberto Martinez in 2013 and only made 42 appearances in five years at Goodison Park.
Robles fell further down the pecking order after England international Jordan Pickford was signed from Sunderland for £30m at the beginning of the 2017/18 season.
With Maarten Stekelenburg also an option for new manager Marco Silva, Robles has not been offered a new contract.
Everton finished eighth last season after Ronald Koeman was sacked in October following a 5-2 loss to Arsenal.
Robles failed to make a single league appearance under manager Sam Allardyce, who took over from Koeman until the end of the season.
Midfielders Jose Baxter and Conor Grant have also been released by Everton, along with several U23 players.
