Martinez replaced David Moyes at Goodison Park last summer after his four-year tenure at Wigan Athletic culminated in an FA Cup final win over Manchester City, but relegation from the Premier League.
The Spaniard has received plenty of plaudits this season and he has quickly impressed January signing McGeady.
Former Celtic winger McGeady has called Martinez 'different class' and is confident his manager is capable of going on to even bigger things.
"The gaffer here is different class," said McGeady in the Daily Star Sunday.
"It's great to be working with someone like him because I have seen the way players have developed under him.
"Tactically, he is one of the best I have ever worked with. He knows what he is talking about and it would not surprise me if he landed a job with one of the biggest clubs in the country, or the world."
McGeady, who joined Everton in January from Spartak Moscow, pinpointed last month's game against Aston Villa as a sign of Martinez's tactical nous.
The Republic of Ireland international added: "He has confidence in me and that showed in the game against Aston Villa.
"They were playing 3-5-2 and he kept telling me not to track back so their wing-back would be occupied by me.
"I was standing on the touchline thinking, 'This is a bit strange, I feel lazy'. Fans were looking at me as I was letting guys run past me and I looked at the manager and asked, 'Is this okay?'
"He just said, 'I don't care what is being said, don't track back, we want you for the counter-attacks'. It just shows how clever he is."
