Newly-promoted Portsmouth have signed left-back Tareiq Holmes-Dennis on a season-long loan from Huddersfield.
The 21-year-old, who joined the Terriers from Charlton last summer, made 15 appearances during the 2016/17 season as Huddersfield sealed promotion to the Premier League via the play-off final.
The former England U18 international becomes Pompey manager Kenny Jackett's second signing after Nathan Thompson joined the club from Swindon on a two-year deal last month.
Jackett said: "We're really pleased that he's come to this club and I'm looking forward to working with him.
"I saw him in the Championship last season and he's a modern-day full-back.
"He's naturally left-footed and very athletic with good pace. He can get up and down the line.
"We're really pleased that he's come to this club and I'm looking forward to working with him."
Holmes-Dennis had loan spells at Oxford, Plymouth and Oldham before moving to Huddersfield, and Jackett feels confident he will relish his season with League One Portsmouth.
"He's eager for a chance and is quite close with a few of players, so I believe he's ready for the opportunity," Jackett said.
