Mauricio Pochettino says a knock picked up by Harry Kane in Tottenham's win at Southampton is not serious.
The England striker appeared to twist his knee in stoppage time of the 2-0 win at St Mary's, and was substituted in stoppage time for Heung-Min Son.
But Pochettino confirmed: "He is okay. I only took him off for a pre-caution.
"He is confident. His character is fantastic. He is a winner. We trust and have a lot of confidence in him. The team believes in his quality."
Kane scored the opening goal - his eighth in eight Premier League games - on his 100th appearance for the club before Dele Alli made it 2-0 before half-time.
And Pochettino praised the team's reaction after their surprise defeat at home to Newcastle last weekend.
He said: "It was a game we should win because we deserved to, but it happened and it was a bad day. The reaction this week was fantastic. It was tough for us. We all felt disappointed about Newcastle.
"We have the youngest squad in the Premier League and St Mary's is a stadium that is very tough. They put pressure on the opponent. But the maturity they showed made me very proud."
The victory moved Tottenham into the top four for the first time this season but with thew busy Christmas period to come, Pochettino refused to get too carried away.
"It is very important to stay there. But the table is not important for us at the moment. How we finish is the real important table, and for that we need to keep working hard," the head coach added.
