Christian Eriksen hopeful Tottenham can profit from Wembley move

Christian Eriksen admits Tottenham will need to adjust quickly when they play their Champions League home games at Wembley next season.
Spurs are using the national stadium for their second venture into Europe's elite club competition in six years because of the reduced capacity at White Hart Lane next season.
Spurs have demolished part of the north-east corner of the stadium over the summer as they continue to develop their new ground - they will spend the entirety of the 2017/18 season at Wembley while that work is completed - and Eriksen believes the bigger pitch at Wembley could help Mauricio Pochettino's side.
"I think it will be weird the first few times because we have to get used to the pitch, which is much bigger than at the Lane," Eriksen told Sky Sports News HQ.
"The atmosphere of course will be different, but we know our fans will probably be even louder when we are Wembley, which will hopefully make us play even better.
"But it will be a nice experience to play there and hopefully we will do well because how we play, I think a big pitch will suit our game."
Spurs' poor finish to the season, which saw them slip to third on the final day, could not disguise a fine campaign and Eriksen, who missed the 2-1 friendly defeat to Juventus on Tuesday through illness, says it is important the team continues to battle at the top of the Premier League.
"It will be brand new for us to play in the Champions League, so for the team and everyone it will be a really good year to see how far we have come," Eriksen added. "We must keep our level. We showed last year we could beat the best and stay near the top and that's where we want to be."
